Design Review
Dear Homeowner:
When each residence in Rudgear Meadows was purchased it was stipulated within the provisions of sale that an Architectural Control Committee / Design Review Committee would interpret the CC&R’s (Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions) in accordance with Article VI, Sections 1 and 2, as amended in October 1987, to maintain the continuity of architectural design, esthetics and amenities originally built into each residence.
The above-mentioned article restricts the building of any building, fence, wall or other structure without the prior approval of the committee. Please note this includes roof modifications, paint changes, skylights, arbors, fences, reflective window coverings, blinds, window mounted air conditioners, solar systems, garage door changes, front door changes, storage sheds, driveways, etc. Please, if you have any doubt about whether a proposed alteration falls under this category, contact our property manager, Patsy Weis at 934-2700.
To submit a modification for approval, complete the reverse side of this form in duplicate and submit it to the Design Review Chairman, Pam Wojciechowski @ 1033 Rudgear Rd. or P.O. Box 5414, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Be sure to include detailed drawings, plans, pictures, specifications, etc. in order to get a faster response.
If you are a town home owner and you are requesting approval for a roof modification, you must submit your request with a letter signed by all members of your building. This letter must stipulate that you all agree to use the same roofing material. Questions regarding this should be referred to Patsy Weis or Manager at 934-2700.
